2D Animation

2D Animation is my passion, and personally the sector I wish to pursue. These are the animations I have made for my course so far using TV Paint, except for the dancing woman rotoscope which was done on Toon Boom Harmony.

First attempt at a turn around using Winnie the Pooh, our goal for this assignment was to stay consistent and on model.
Opening and closing box, this assignment was set to practice the successive breaking of joints to achieve flexibility and fluidity.
Fire animation, trying to capture how fire moves so sporadically was tricky! In this assignment I studied the way fire moves to replicate and focused on following through on the embers.
Paper falling, for this assignment we had to film footage of a paper falling to use as reference. Capturing the light weight aspect of the paper falling to the ground was fun!
Lipsync done with Pinky, from Pinky and the Brain.
Face morph, using three different faces from a range of films our assignment was to morph these phases using comedic and imaginative transitions.
Rotoscope of a dancing woman, this was part of my final year college project which was inspired by the film tangled.

Jumping sack, had to bring a flour sack to life and make it jump! I found this assignment really fun as it taught me that animation can truly bring anything to life.
Flying bee, for this assignment we had to create a path for a bee to follow eventually landing on a flower. Practising spacing as it speeds up in some parts and slows down in others.
Walk cycle, another one of my early works for this assignment I focused on spacing and weight shift in the character.
